# Introducing ReverseProxi 1.2: Real-time Edge Caching & Custom Headers

## What's New in v1.2.0

We are thrilled to announce the release of ReverseProxi 1.2.0, which brings highly requested features to our edge network, including real-time edge caching, custom header manipulation, and advanced routing rules.

### Real-time Edge Caching

With real-time edge caching, your static and dynamic assets are cached closer to your users, reducing latency by up to 80%. You can configure cache-control headers directly from the dashboard or via our API.

### Custom Header Manipulation

You can now inject, modify, or delete HTTP headers at the edge before requests reach your origin server or before responses are sent back to the client. This is perfect for security compliance, custom tracking, and CORS configuration.

### Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

• Fixed a memory leak in WebSocket connection handling.

• Improved SSL handshake times by 15% across all edge nodes.

• Resolved an issue where custom error pages were not rendering correctly under high load.
